Born and bred as a Native Lakelander there is hardly a corner of this great city that I have not stepped foot upon. My parents are also natives of Lakeland. My father, a machine operator & small business owner, went to Kathleen High School and my mother, now a nurse, graduated Lake Gibson High School. Being the oldest of 5 children, we all had to compete for my parent’s attention. That competitive nature still burns within me to this very day.

As a youngster, you could find me at a local park trying to catch on at a local football game. I went on to graduate from Lake Gibson High School in North Lakeland. Go Braves! During my time there I volunteered at Lakeland Regional Medical Center and completed the Nursing Program. Fortunately, my skills on the football gridiron allowed me to receive a scholarship to South Carolina Presbyterian College. I went on to transfer to The University of South Florida where I studied Health Sciences. During my time at USF I played safety for the Bulls football team under head coach Skip Holtz.

Volunteering in the community has always been a passion of mine. I believe that originated from my time mentoring youngsters in the Big Brother Big Sisters program. I’ve been able to take my passion for children’s welfare and service to the community back to the football field where I currently coach high school JV football for my alma mater, LGHS Braves. I am never far away from the game of football as I still enjoy cheering on my USF Bulls on Saturdays and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sundays. Outside of sports, I am an avid reader and I enjoy traveling. I have quite an extensive bucket list of places to visit.
